Topic of Discussion
You get to play god or, more accurately, Dante. You may have already observed that some of the inhabitants of the Inferno appear in unexpected places. For our discussion tomorrow, be prepared to make two proposals. First, argue the case that one of the characters who has appeared in the Inferno should move to another location, either higher or lower in the circles, one of the characters you encountered in the readings but does not appear in the Inferno should now occupy one of the circles, or one of characters you encounter in the Inferno should not be in the Inferno at all but should move to a place to be determined in Purgatorio or maybe even Paradiso. Second, after eight centuries, it is time for some renovations, so you should select a circle or bolgia and propose a makeover or propose the addition of a new one, either for one of the existing categories of sinners or for a new one. You must refer specifically to the texts, which you should have at had for our meeting.
