An inscription of Nebuchadnezzar II (604-562BC); this describes the king’s work on various projects including restoration of the temples and ziggurats of Babylon and Borsippa; it states that his father’s palace had been damaged by flooding; he repaired and extended it; also a new fortress on the north of the city (from the website).
